The GP (Dr. Thompson) took the time to listen to what I said and then explained about what my problems may be caused by, in a way that I understood. He also did not dismiss my symptoms and requested various blood tests to try to find out what, if anything is wrong. This was very reassuring. Although I want to come off one medication, he was careful to explain why this wasn't advisable until the blood test results were known again - time, explanations and good patient care and very reassuring.

Improve appointment time. Why make an appointment then have to wait and the people come late and go before you.

The surgery is a well run practice with experienced GPs who try to meet the needs of their patients with care. My son had particularly good care and honest appraisal of his needs as first time parents we have been extremely grateful. I would like to give doctors clearer information on caudus equinus which was not spotted and resulted in my having emergency surgery this week.

I have been with the practice for over 35years and despite moving just outside the catchment area i would never consider leaving it. Its one of the best practices in the Dorking area and with three bases always easy to get an appointment.
